  1. Randy Wells says:

    Nice shot!

  2. Bob Tilton says:

    Thanks Randy! That diagonal line!

  3. Matt Hart says:

Bob, That is so cool, I shot that car here in Australia a few months ago!

  4. Bob Tilton says:

Thanks Matt! Would love to see your photo(s).

  5. Vic says:

    great shot.

There are few things I like better than a side-profile shot of a great car.

Also I’m coming to terms with people in shots (my own snaps I mean) realising it actually adds to the atmosphere.

  6. Bob Tilton says:

Thanks Vic! Personally, I am a big fan of people in the shot as it adds to the details of capturing the moment in time. If you look back at the work of Jesse Alexander, there are always people in his images and it helps in getting a sense of the time period due to current trends in fashion.

Also, as much as I appreciate people waiting for me to take a picture before stepping into the scene the truth is I am often times waiting for them to enter the frame.

People plus cars equals culture. That has always been my photographic goal since the beginning.

  7. Tim says:

Beautiful shot Bob. Any idea what the name of that color is?

  8. Bob Tilton says:

Thanks Tim! Unfortunately I do not know the color and my post processing slightly changed the true color. Matt or Rob might know the color since they both photographed the car.

  9. Matt Hart says:

Im pretty sure it’s slate grey, I’ll ask Ron the next time I see him.

  10. Tim says:

Thanks guys. It is a beauty.

  11. Justin Reed says:

I thinks it’s a colour that Ron created actually. in this picture the car looks a lot more grey than it actually is. obviously the unique Monterey light has a little to do with it, but it has more blue-green in it.

the car is beautifully done though, and it’s spectacular to watch. I remember following it at rennsport as it powerslid it’s way around corporate hill at Sydney motor sport park.
