This is Bob. I finally found the light switch. I flicked it on. I am back.

I want to thank Sinnerman for taking over the blog duties in my “absence”. That’s him waving in the above photo. Some say he is my constant companion and I believe it to be true. We all have one.

Back to a few more pics from the R Gruppe Solvang. I’ve changed my post-processing. I would not necessarily say I have a consistent post-processing “style” but what I’ve been doing with most of the Solvang series represents a departure for me. Everything is so freakin’ bright…and happy…and…and cheerful.

I wanted to pretend I had Lecia gear and mimic the characteristics or the “look” of Leica. Yes, I know it is not a true representation of the hard clarity, ultra-rich saturation and creamy bokeh of a camera body and lens combo that costs as much as a concours paint job.

I need to stop thinking about Leicas. After all it’s not the gear it’s the post-processer as I say. Plus I haven’t figured out if I am a “fixed-lens” type of person. Secretly, I don’t think I am.

No commentary on this batch other than check out the two stupid civilian cars ruining the shot…again. Effin’ ruuuuuuuuuuuuude.
