Today was my wife’s turn to host “Wine Day” at the house with her friends. This means I get kicked out for a few hours. No worries. Filled the tank and pointed the car east. Nice day for a three hour hillside drive in-around Oakley, Brentwood, Byron and Livermore. On the way back I stopped at Flying Colors, one of the last comic book stores in the East Bay Area, and bought 300 The Art of the Film. I’ve been watching that movie a lot lately and love the post-processing in it. Totally gorgeous. Plus I am a huge Frank Miller fan. The above shot was taken with my iPhone off Vasco Road in Byron with massive 300 influence as you can see the before and after.

Lucky man indeed. It is an absolutely gorgeous day in the UK. Working on being kicked out of the house and start up the ’12, that has not been run in weeks. (Anyone need anythings from the shops?). Snow and general commitments seem to have enforced the colour distortion of 300 on life at the moment. I’m just waiting for the six pack and leather skirt. Nice pic.

Cool shot Bob. I like the colour treatment, the ‘heading out of shot’ composition, and the detail in the foreground partially obscuring the car.
