Here are some photos that will appear in the Harvey article. John Gray and I spent a Saturday with him at his shop in Oroville, a town known for producing “powdered goods.” Aside from being the best wheel restorer in the business, Harvey is good people. Always enjoy chattin’ it up with him at the gatherings.

I gave these images a vintage feel with film leaks, scratches, fading and grain. It’s what the images called out for based on the subject. Expect lots of pics strewn across this lengthy interview article.

  1. Tom Bridgers says:

Harvey is one of the “last of the nice guys”. What’s more fun than ordering wheels? Getting him on the phone and just “talking shop”. It’s always great! This should have been the easiest interview ever.

  2. Cris Huergas says:

I’ve always wanted to see Harvey’s operation. Sometime soon, lets take him up on the open house tour.

  3. Jens says:

Harvey is a great friend and certainly the real deal. Who else do we know that was right THERE when the IROC Porsches showed up with the aluminum ducktails and promptly removed them to install the original whaletails? That was Harvey. He also ended up with the cast off obsolete ducktails. That’s just a snippet of his experiences with Porsche motorsports. His knowledge and love of these cars runs deep and he’s got a heart as big as all outdoors. Wheels? He is the last word on all things Fuchs or ARs or Minilites or…. Just a great guy to be around.
