ALL YOU EVER WANTED WAS SOMEONE TO TRULY LOOK UP TO YOU

First of all, apologies for the non-Tiltonish type shots. I’m was in documentary mode and wanted to capture the details of this car. I didn’t even do any of my artsy post processing.

This is a 1968 911L. It was formally owned by Don but has since been purchased by someone who wants to keep their anonymity which translates to “well to do gentlemen who added it to his collection and we’ll never see it again until it comes up for sale”. Unfortunate. This car best represents “less is pure”. It is simple and it is stunning. It’s not all tarted up. It doesn’t scream for your attention but once it has it…just listen to what it is quietly saying to you.

I’m glad I was able to photograph it a few years ago at Canepa before it was sold.

I LOVE the non-tiltonish shots. That way I can see what the car really looks like! HA!

Sorry Bob, just bustin cajones. What a great car this really is. See you soon.

Oh my goodness! That is the most beautiful 911 I’ve seen in a really long time. I echo the comment above of how reflections of your car, Bob, can be seen in this car.
