I COUNTED UP MY BLESSINGS AND I ONLY COUNTED ONE

I’m glad I finally got to see this car in the metal at this year’s R Gruppe Treffen in Monterey. It’s been an inspiration for years and no surprise when the owner’s name was called out to receive the GT award. This Gulf Blue ’67S belongs to Eric Linden from the PNW.

Check out five-and-a-halfs…notice how wide they are? These were widened by Harvey to sixes and sevens…nice sleeper detail!

Nice vintage Momo Elite steering wheel and houndstooth center seats…gives it such a regal look.

How about the Yokohama A008 tires? These haven’t been available in Porsche sizes for 10 years! They’re slicks on the outside with nominal tread on the inside. Every vintage racer lusts for a set of these tires.

Naturally Eric would have a set to finish off his car.

Too funny. Seeing those A008Rs got me searching for a set… 🙁
Nope, no secret stashes out there.

One light is hard CORE. Long live RGruppe!

Speaking of counting. I lost count of all the things I love about this car; the color, the finish on the Fuchs, the Elite, the seats… it goes on and on.

  5. Randy says:

Those 008s came from my stash – the perfect car to wear them!

I need to get a set of A008 for my car. Last time I had them on car here in OZ is mid 90s. I disliked them in the wet but in the dry the slip curve on them rocked.
