TO JUST LET GO MY PARTY PIECE

This was taken at the Alameda AutoX late last year. I don’t have the details on the car but it was a monster. Wevo had a heavy hand in the build so just imagine the best of the best being thrown at the car. Also, I wanted to include before and after pics of the track shots to show just how much post processing I do. I know it’s not for everyone.

that was one of the sickest cars ever. it started life as a 69 912, had a cup motor and g50, motor/transmission moved 50mm forward iirc. twin radiators behind each head light. carbon roof grafted, carbon hood, engine lid, fenders, the suspension was all coil overs, ceramic brakes etc etc. when that thing started you knew it…oh the glory of the sound and the smell of race fuel. ive heard it is no longer around, the owner totalled it last year. i dont have any more details than that. what a shame.

The owner was formerly a jet designer, so he applied his craft to the stuctural reinforcement of the car. He did wreck it, but it is up and running again. They are playing around with different aero to get it a little more stable at speed.

  3. I love the first cone in the first picture. It appears the poor thing has been hit and brutalized by every car entered for many weekends!

Count on me to see the wrong thing.

    cheers!
